COMMUNITY NOTICE!!!

Installation of Security Cameras at Community Entrances

Dear Homeowners of Hawthorn Glen / Farms,

We want to inform you that the HOA has officially installed security cameras at the primary entrance points of our community in response to increasing safety concerns.

📍 Camera Locations:

Winding Down Way & Cooper Rd
Barnwell Dr & Highway 78
Storybook Ln & Highway 78
These locations were strategically selected to monitor all incoming and outgoing traffic for better visibility and safety coverage.

🔒 Why Were These Cameras Installed?
Over the past few months, our community has experienced a concerning rise in crime, including:

A drive-by shooting in a neighboring section
Police chases passing through our streets
Property break-ins reported by homeowners
Acts of vandalism near common areas and private residences
As your HOA Board, our top priority is the safety and well-being of all residents. These cameras are part of our ongoing efforts to deter criminal activity, support law enforcement when necessary, and protect our neighborhood.

🎥 Important Notes:

The footage will only be reviewed for security-related incidents.
Camera access is restricted to authorized HOA representatives and law enforcement if required.
Signs will be posted to notify visitors and potential intruders that the area is under video surveillance.
We believe this is a vital step in enhancing the security of our community and thank you for your continued support. If you have questions or concerns, please attend our next HOA meeting or contact the Property Manager Richard Hammond at (678) 248-8872 or rhammond@homesideproperties.com.

Retention / Detention Ponds Maintenance

We are pleased to announce that American Erosion Control (20+ years experience in Retention Pond Maintenance) will service Southfork Community Ponds. The Board has worked hard to make this overdue project a reality.

This is an important milestone that will bring Southfork into compliance with City and County Codes, which will ultimately help avoid a hefty fined from the City of Loganville (Violation Warning sent back in 2017). The work is expected to be completed in 2 phases, as follows:
