
The Pool will open on Memorial Day and close on Labor Day of each year
Pool Hours for the season:
12 PM – 8 PM Monday – Sunday.
Pool may be closed as needed to conduct thorough maintenance of the pool and/or the entire pool area.
*All swimming is AT YOUR OWN RISK. The attendants are not lifeguards.
Pool Rules
All Hawthorn Glen/Farms (HGF) Amenities, including the Pool, Tennis Courts, Swing Set Area and associated recreation areas are for the use of HGF Residents who are current on their Annual Dues to the Homeowners association and have no outstanding fines. This and the rules that follow are in conjunction with the rules posted in the breezeway of the pool house. Additionally, all amenities will be closed during any inclement weather situations (rain, snow, hail, lightning, etc.).
- This is a swim at your own risk facility. An adult is anyone 18 years of age or older for purposes of these rules, unless otherwise specified.
- No one under 12 years old is permitted within the pool enclosure without direct adult supervision. An adult must accompany children under 12 years old.
- Smoking/Vaping is prohibited within the Pool enclosure, Tennis Court and Swing Set Area.
- Drugs and alcohol are forbidden/not allowed inside the pool enclosure or in the area around the pool enclosure. (Law enforcement will be contacted for all violators.)
- No glass bottles, containers or other items that are capable of shattering and producing sharp objects are allowed within the Pool enclosure.
- NO DIVING into the pool. No running, boisterous or rough play in or around the pool.
- Inappropriate public behavior including profanity, intoxication, vulgar remarks or bullying will not be tolerated and may result in loss of pool privileges at the discretion of the HOA Board of Directors and/or the property management company. This is a family-oriented recreation area and appropriate behavior is expected at all times.
- No chewing gum while in the pool enclosure or during pool use is permitted.
- No spitting, blowing your nose, or spouting of water in the pool.
- Emergency equipment is for ATTENDANT USE ONLY. First Aid supplies may be used by qualified or authorized person(s).
- Swim diapers or swim pants are mandatory, covered by plastic pants. No regular diapers are allowed in the pool. If any soiling of the water is noted by the caretaker, report this to the attendant immediately. In the event of contamination from any source, immediately notify the pool attendant or any member of the board.
- No pets, with the exception of verifiable certified service dogs, are permitted within the pool enclosure.
- Appropriate swimwear is required at all times in the swimming pool. Cut offs or shorts with loose strings are not allowed in the pool.
- Persons with open sores or rashes are not allowed in the swimming pool.
- No hard balls (tennis balls, footballs, racquet balls) are allowed in the pool area. Other balls designed specifically for pool use may be used AT THE ATTENDANT’S discretion if deemed appropriate & the activity does not interfere with other swimmers’ pool use.
- No firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed in or around the pool, tennis, and swing set area.
- Keep the pool area and restrooms clean and safe. Place pool furniture back in place if moved, lower the umbrellas upon leaving, and place all trash in proper receptacles. Notify the attendant if the restrooms require cleaning or restocking of paper products or hand soap.
Parents (refers to the homeowner and/or tenants) – Please be sure to go over these rules with your children so there will be no misunderstanding. Parents will be responsible for any damage to pool equipment, furniture, or restrooms done by their children while in the pool area.
